KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- The Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries held it's annual Baskets of Hope event, giving families in need a chance at having a better Thanksgiving.
Around 18 hundred baskets were given out Sunday afternoon. Each one filled with a holiday feast for six people.
KARM encouraged the community to donate and volunteer to make the event happen.
