Bearden recycling center moving to be moved from Kroger

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A recycling center in the parking lot of the Kroger supermarket in Bearden will be moved, the City of Knoxville announced on Thursday.

The recycling center will close on June 7th, and, in its place, a Kroger gas station will be built.

The recycling center will be moved to the Goodwill Industries at 5307 Kingston Pike, and is expected reopen June 10th.
