Woman found fatally shot in Tellico Plains, drugs suspected

TELLICO PLAINS, Tenn. (WVLT)--A Monroe County woman was found shot in the head this morning.
Deputies think it was drug related.
About 9:45 Friday morning Monroe County deputies went to 325 Towee Falls Road in Tellico Plains, TN.
When they got there they found a 38 year-old woman with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Deputies are investigating, but think drugs were involved.
No suspects have been arrested.
The name of the victim hasn't been released yet.
