Bomb threat forces evacuation of Jellico High School

JELLICO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A bomb threat forced students at Jellico High School to evacuate to a nearby location on Monday, according to Campbell Co. officials. The bomb threat came shortly after noon.

Students were taken to Croucher Creek Baptist Church where they were picked up by parents.

The threat was found in a handwritten note that a student uncovered in the girl's bathroom.

No bomb was found in the building, police are now trying to discover which student wrote that note.

If found guilty that student could be facing criminal charges.
