Bruce Downsbrough enters guilty plea

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. WVLT Former UT Foundation executive Bruce Downsbrough entered into a guilty plea on Wednesday.

He has been charged with possessing child pornography.

U.S. prosecutors say they'll recommend a sentence of 10 years and one month behind bars.

The maximum sentence for both counts would be 30 years.

Downsborough said he kept child porn to keep him from molesting children -- and has admitted to molesting children in the past.

He is the former C.O.O. of the UT Foundation.

His sentencing date is March 13, 2014.
