KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Knox County Schools bus driver is off the job after an incident Monday morning that injured at least seven students.
A KCS spokesperson says Eddie Beaver will not be driving a bus until the investigation is complete. She also told Local 8 News that the school system is they are working with law enforcement.
It's unclear exactly what happened, but a spokesperson for the school system says authorities are looking into allegations that Beaver braked suddenly.
The bus serves Powell Middle School and typically carries middle and high school students.
Beaver will not drive again until the investigation wraps up. He has been with the school system since 2006.
