CAK students honor veterans

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- From one Warrior to another -- students at CAK spent the day honoring veterans.

The school hosted its 2012 Veterans Day program in the Campus Center Gym Thursday. Students and veterans packed the gym to hear stories from veterans with ties to the school.

Veterans say presentations like these hold a special place in their hearts. "I enjoy seeing the other veterans. We need to recognize the veterans that sacrificed so much," said Col. John "Ike" Ikesewel with the US Army Reserve.

CAK's marching band provided music and entertainment.
