Two men added to state's 'Most Wanted' list

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added two new suspects to the state's Top Ten Most Wanted list.

Cashman Jamar Perkins, 31, is wanted by Chattanooga police and the TBI for Homicide, Aggravated Domestic Assault and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

And the Bedford County Sheriff's Department has issued a warrant for Perkins for Failure to Appear on an Unlawful Possession of a Weapon charge. Additionally, Perkins is wanted by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office for Violation of Probation for Possession of Marijuana.

Chattanooga police responded to Woodland View Circle in Chattanooga on Sunday for a report of a shooting.

They found Francis Smith, 40, dead and determine the victim had been shot by Perkins. The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting is currently under investigation.

Perkins has a last known address of 1100 Willow Street in Chattanooga.
Perkins has tattoos on both hands and his right shoulder. 
He is approximately 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.  
Officers also say he has a criminal history of drug possession and illegal weapon possession.

Perkins is considered to be armed and dangerous. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cashman Jamar Perkins is urged to call TBI at 1‐800‐TBI‐FIND (1‐800‐824‐3463). 

There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. 

The TBI has also added a Grundy County man to the Top Ten Most Wanted list.

Samuel Arthur McCurry, 47, of Gruetli‐Laager, is wanted for four counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery and Rape of a Child. He failed to appear in court on the charges on June 4.
McCurry has a last known address of 324 Borne Road in Gruetli-Laager.

McCurry has a criminal history of escape and drug possession.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of McCurry is urged to call TBI at 1‐800‐TBI‐FIND (1‐800‐824‐3463).

There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
