Officer Headrick

Officer Headrick

A Sevierville police officer diagnosed with a deadly disease got a little Wednesday as Sevier County rolled up its sleeves to help.

Officer Ben Headrick has had several surgeries and he's getting better.
But on Wednesday, the community joined forces for a blood drive.

"The amount of support it is absolutely amazing. These people they're all so special to us," Headrick's uncle, Jerry, told us.

"Next is just get him home, get him where the people that love him can come see him. It's easier for everybody and it'll boost his spirits," Terry Headrick said, Ben's rather.
