SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- People visiting downtown Sevierville will soon have new parking options when visiting the courthouse area.
Sevierville plans to start work on Monday for a new surface level parking located on the north side of Bruce Street, between Court Avenue and the Parkway.
A spokesperson for the city says the new parking area will consist of 77 parking spaces (including 5 handicapped spaces), a gazebo, several park benches and landscaping, will be built at the location of the existing public parking lot on the north side of Bruce Street, between Court Avenue and the Parkway.
The work is expected to be completed no later than June 28, 2013.
