Convicted sex offender caught working at city hall

CALHOUN, Tenn. (WVLT) - A registered sex offender has been arrested for working at a city hall.

McMinn County deputies arrested James Edward Leamon Thursday after finding out he was working on the roof of Calhoun City Hall.

Deputies also found that Leamon was already wanted for violating the sex offender registry.

The sheriff's office says it was unsure why Leamon was being allowed to work at the city hall.
