Dad accused of starving 2 year-old son to death is out on bond

Roane County, TN (WVLT) - New information about the two parents accused of starving their two-year-old to death in Roane County.

Matthew Dotson has bonded out of jail. He's out on a $100,000 bond. His wife Amanda is still behind bars. Amanda Dotson's arraignment has been rescheduled to next Tuesday. Matthew's next court date is November 9.

The two were indicted by the Roane County Grand Jury on first degree murder charges in the death of their son Clifford Dotson. He was just 12 pounds when he died. Doctors say that's one-third his weight for his age.
