GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Hundreds of local craft makers in the Gatlinburg area are showing off their trade at a yearly show.
The Great Smoky Arts & Craft Community Holiday show is going on at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Unique handcrafted gifts made by members of Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community are offered as they host their annual show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
"It's a great way to get our craft into downtown Gatlinburg to get people to go out into the arts and craft community, which we have 114 this year," said Bob Dinwoodie, a local metal sculptor.
The largest group of independent artisans in North America can be found in Gatlinburg. The historic 8-mile loop has been designated a Tennessee Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail.
The craft show runs through December 2nd in the downstairs exhibit hall. Doors open at 10am
daily and as usual the admission is free to everyone.
