Possible west Knoxville drowning victim had pulse

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Emergency crews responded to a west Knoxville apartment complex Saturday night shortly after a 911 call reporting a drowning.

Police, fire and rescue officials found a 22-year-old man at Crossroads West Apartment Complex.

Rural Metro transported the man to UT Medical Center.

According to the Knoxville Fire Department spokesman D.J. Corcoran, the man was with friends and had a pulse when he was taken to the hospital.

His condition is unknown at this time.
