KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Firefighters battled a fire at U.T.'s Music Building on Volunteer Boulevard and Pat Head Summitt Street.
A witness saw the flames around 9:30 Saturday night...where pieces of tar were on fire in a part of the building under construction.
It took crews around a half an hour to get thinks under control as they used a ladder to get access to the roof.
KFD investigators say part of a railing was damaged and that the fire appears to be an accident.
