KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A man is still on the run following a robbery at a Powell convenience store Sunday evening. According to the Knox Co. Sheriff's Office, the suspect walked into the Lee's Food Mart on Clinton Highway around 7:00 p.m.

He asked the clerk to make change for a dollar, then pulled out a handgun. Pointing the gun at the clerk, the man took money from the register. He then fled on foot, heading south on Clinton Highway.

The Sheriff's Office described the suspect as a white man, between the ages of 20 and 26, with a thin build and cropped, dark brown hair. He stands between 5'8" and 5'10", weighs about 130 to 140 lbs. He had tattoos on his chest, both arms, and probably his legs, too.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black tank top, tucked into long, Khaki shorts and had sunglasses on top of his head. He also wore black, unlaced shoes, possibly high tops.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Knox CO. Sheriff's Office at 865-215-2243.
