Crimetracker: 66 year-old shot during break-in while visiting brother

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox Co. Sheriff's Office is searching for three men involved in a shooting that wounded a 66 year-old man who was visiting his brother at the time.

According to the sheriff's office, Eddie Moore dropped by his brother's house on Edington Rd. and was there around 10:00 p.m. when the three suspects forced their way in.

The men, who were wearing masks, demanded money and attacked Burnett before shooting him. They then took off in a car with white Cadillac rims.

Moore was taken to UT Medical Center. His condition is currently unknown. His brother, Larry Moore, was not hurt.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call the Knox Co. Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit at (865) 215-2243.
