ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Hawkins Co. Sheriff's Office says it arrested a Rogersville woman on Tuesday for trying to trade Morphine pills for Oxycodone. Wanda Faye Harvey is also accused of bringing her 8 year-old granddaughter along when she went to make the trade.
The 56 year-old is charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver and Child abuse/neglect. She is being held in the Hawkins Co. Jail on $20,000 bond.
According to Sheriff Ronnie Lawson, the Sheriff's Office's Narcotics unit was investigating Harvey when it learned she was trying to trade the pills.
Lawson said an officer called her, posing as an individual wanting to make the trade, and set up a meeting in an Arby's parking lot where she was arrested.
