Crimetracker: Trial set for August for man facing child sex charges

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The man facing dozens of charges, including sex-related charges with a minor, appeared in court on Friday. Harry T. Henry was arrested just over a week ago after the Grand Jury returned a 49-count indictment against him.

He faces charges that include especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, statutory rape by an authority figure, rape, attempted rape, unlawful photographing, and sexual activity involving a minor.

His trial date is set for August 10. If he's going to make a deal, he will have to do so by July 10.

At the time of his arrest, Henry had an outstanding warrant for failure to obey court orders with a $1,500 bond. He has also been arrested for DUI. He was being held on half-million dollar bond.
