The Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested one man and is looking for another who robbed a North Knox County CVS pharmacy Sunday morning.
According to the initial investigation, at approximately 1:48 a.m., 29-year-old Keith Richard Kirkland of Cunningham Road in Knoxville, walked into the CVS pharmacy located at 417 E. Emory Road and presented a note to a pharmacist, demanding medication.
After receiving a bag of medication, Kirkland fled in a silver Honda. After a short pursuit, Kirkland was taken into custody by KCSO officers in the woods at Reed Drive at approximately 2:28 a.m.
Kirkland was charged with robbery with a bond amount of $25,000.00. He has a criminal history in Knoxville that includes DUI and simple possession.
