Crimetracker: Knox County deputies searching for armed robber

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who robbed a West Knox County gas station Thursday night.

According to the initial investigation, a white male entered the Weigel’s at 600 Ebenezer Road in West Knox County around 9:40 p.m. and brandished a gun. He demanded money from the cash register. After getting the money, he took off on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10”-6’0”, thin build. He was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and ski mask at the time of the robbery.
