Crimetracker: Man arrested after grand jury indicted him on child sex charges

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Knoxville man charged with sexual activity involving a minor and solicitation of a minor.
Michael Tyler Henegar, 18, was taken into custody without incident around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday after a Knox County grand jury handed down the two-count indictment.
An investigation by the KCSO Computer Crimes Unit as part of the Internet Against Crimes Task Force led to the indictment.
Henegar was released from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility on a $75,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the KCSO at (865) 215-2243.
