Weather Alert: Strong to severe storms are expected tonight
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities are investigating a shooting at a Knoxville hotel that sent one man to the hospital Thursday night.
According to the Knoxville Police Dept., officers were called to the Days Inn on Asheville Highway shortly before 7:30 p.m.
They found the victim in room #102 shot in the leg. He was taken to UT Medical Center with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators and forensic technicians are still working the case.
