SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Sevierville Police want to identify a man that's believed to have forged checks in numerous counties across Tennessee.
Sevierville Police say the man forged checks in Sevier, Anderson, Knox, Jefferson, Hamblen, Blount, Loudon, Marion, Greene and Campbell counties. According to SPD Detective Kevin Bush, the suspect (security photo attached) has allegedly forged at least twenty-six handwritten “starter” checks, mainly in convenience and tobacco stores.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’2” tall and 190 pounds, about 55-years old, with salt and pepper hair and a mustache. He is a cigarette smoker.
