Crimetracker: Police looking for suspect in home invasion

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police are looking for a suspect after a home invasion on Hiawassee Avenue just after 8:30 Wednesday night.

A man inside the home called 911, saying he was holding a man at gunpoint.

When officers arrived, they found the front door damaged, nearly split in half. A man inside had a large cut on his forehead. Police say he appeared confused and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Witnesses told police they saw a man leave the home quickly and take off in a white Ford Explorer.
