SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Sevier County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested 3 teenagers and charged them with several drug charges after they were found smoking marijuana at a Seymour McDonald's.
Deputies arrested Denton William Chesser, 18, of Seymour, and Robert Lewis Chesser, 19, of Seymour and charged both with the sale of mushrooms, possession of schedule I, VI substance and drug paraphernalia in a drug free school zone.
Mitchell Jonathan Kozar, 18, of Brooklyn, Miss., is charged with possession of a schedule I & VI substance, a drug free school violation, the sale of mushrooms, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest warrants say the three were in a vehicle at the McDonald's in Seymour, when someone reported suspicious drug activity. Officers arrived and smelled a marijuana odor coming from the car. After searching the car, officers say they found a green leafy substance in a bag, and a white/green substance which the the three said was marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
All three are being held in the Sevier County jail on $50,000 bond. They have a court appearance set for February 1st.
