HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office along with Third Judicial District Drug Task Force have arrested two people and seized three pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop on Saturday.
Officers spotted a Dodge Caravan crossing the fog line on Highway 66 South and pulled over the the vehicle.
A pillowcase was recovered from behind the driver's seat, which contained a trash bag. Inside the trash bag, officers recovered three "bricks" of marijuana, weighing about a pound each.
Dusten Daniel Hurd, 23, and Macario Soles, 27, were both arrested and more than $1,800 was also seized from the car.
Both face drug charges.
