Crimetracker: men arrested for Habitat robbery

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three men accused of ripping off an East Tennessee charity now face charges. The Loudon County Sheriff's Office says Joshua Allen, Paul Bovard, and Josef Smith stole $4,000 worth of backhoe buckets from the Loudon County Habitat for Humanity.

Police released a video showing a truck pulling up and leaving with several items in the back. The equipment belonged to Tim Lee, who was a contractor doing work for Habitat.

A local businessman called the sheriff's office and said he believed he bought the stolen equipment. Investigators were able to recover it through the business owner.
