Crimetracker: two people charged in separate dog attacks

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Two Knoxville men are charged after their dogs attacked two people in unrelated incidents.

Police say Dustin Turner's shepherd mix attacked a woman on Hoss Road back in January.

The woman suffered extensive injuries, and Turner is charged with dog at large.

The other incident happened in March on Texas Valley Road.

Police say a pit bull mix belonging to Cecil Capps attacked a young girl, cutting her face multiple times.

Capps is also charged with dog at large.
