KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- University of Tennessee students served up a delicious meal of seared duck salad, smoked trout, and pound cake to American Red Cross volunteers Friday afternoon.
The culinary program participants wanted to show 120 volunteers and staff members how much their dedication means to the community.
"The feeling is kind of un-expressible for me. It's always a joy to give someone very good food," says John Hampton.
The lunch also doubled as the student's final exam before graduation.
