HARROGATE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Arson investigators are trying to determine what sparked an explosion that rocked Harrogate early Monday morning. Rick Davis, the City's Volunteer Fire Chief, described the blast as the "largest he's seen."
A neighbor reported hearing the explosion at Hunley Repair shortly after 6:00 a.m. on Monday. Three cars were destroyed, while a tanker truck, a dodge pickup, and a motorcycle were also damaged.
Several fire crews from the Harrogate Fire Dept. responded to the scene as well as teams from Speedwell and Cumberland Gap.
No one was injured in the explosion.
