After the line of severe storms that crawled through our region yesterday and last night, today we welcome change. Look for some clouds/fog this morning then more sunshine for the afternoon. High temperatures will be much more pleasant. Highs will be in the lower 80s in most parts of east Tennessee today, while southeastern Kentucky will stay in the upper 70s. Knoxville's high today will be 83 degrees.
As the afternoon wears on, we will see about a 20% chance for an isolated shower or two, but not all areas will see rain today. Tuesday, we will see much of the same only a few degrees cooler. We are calling for a high of 80 degrees tomorrow. Wednesday will bring another dry day with a high of 83 degrees.
Enjoy the dry weather while you can because from Thursday through the weekend the rain and storm chance come back. Scattered showers and storms will be the trend until the first part of next week.
