RAIN - RAIN is going away !

After an inch or two of rain, the wet weather is moving out. We've had over 37 inches of rain for the year, and that is 14 inches above normal ! To give you an example, there are about 15 states that have less than 20 inches of rain in a year. So, we are one of the wettest areas in the country !

A drying trend begins tonight. We'll see sunshine return for Wednesday with pleasant temperatures in the low 80's. It's common to hit 90 this time of year. By Thursday, look for mid 80's and sunny skies.

Hot and humid is the weather trend for Friday and the weekend. Highs will reach the upper 80's, with lows in the upper 60's. That heat and humidity will spark an isolated storm in the afternoon. But, that coverage of storms is only 20% through the weekend.

Enjoy the Summer sunshine !
