MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Blackman High School point guard Darius Thompson has committed to play at Tennessee.
Thompson made the announcement Saturday night via his Twitter account.
"I've finally made a decision! Im keeping it orange. Next year i will be a Tennessee Volunteer," Thompson tweeted.
A couple of months ago, Thompson originally committed to Vanderbilt, but broke off that commitment last month and re-opened his recruitment.
Thompson, 6'4", was also heavily recruited by Alabama, Auburn, Virginia, and North Carolina State.
He averaged 16.4 points, 6.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals this season, helping Blackman to a 30-1 record and a spot in the state tournament.
