A house in flames with a person and pets inside.
Deputies said a fight between a man and his wife set it off.
"It's surprising. Especially in this area it was a beautiful house," said Douglas Hill.
People who live in the North Knox County community, told Local 8 News - it's usually a pretty quiet area.
Deputies told us the owner, Archie Welch, struck the match.
"I don't see how someone could put their son and daughter in harm's way," said Alex Nelson.
Investigators said Welch lit the fire with his son and several pets inside.
Archie Welch's son was able to escape the fire safely. No word on the pets. He's charged with resisting arrest, aggravated arson and domestic assault.
