RiverRush uses cutting-edge hydromagnetic technology to make water race uphill through thrilling twists, turns and rapids. Riders experience all the ups and downs of a land-based coaster, with the fun and excitement of cascading water.
"There's a lot of fun in story at my Dollywood's Splash Country in 2013," said Dolly Parton. "Growing up, playing in the creeks and streams here in the Smoky Mountains, I could only dream of something like a water coaster."
RiverRush is a $6 million dollar investment, Splash Country's largest expansion since the park was built 12 years ago. The water roller coaster takes riders up and down 4 times in a 4 person raft.
Friday, Dolly also opened her new production at Dollywood called "My People" which features her and her family.
