KNOXVILLE (WVLT) -- One person was shot and injured on a street corner in Knoxville on Saturday morning.
Police said it happened at 1:47 a.m. near the corner of W. 5th Ave. and Arthur Street.
The victim was walking down the street when a small, dark car passed him. The car then drove by again and the passenger in the car shot the victim.
The victim was shot in the foot and back and transported to UT Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
KPD will continue to investigate.
