Driver charged in wreck that killed Knoxville man

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WVLT) - An 18-year-old Nolensville, Tennessee man has been charged with DUI manslaughter after police say he drove drunk and hit a 22-year-old Knoxville man while in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Panama City Beach police say Bruce George was driving eastbound while Brandon Beverly of Knoxville was traveling westbound on a three-wheeled scooter.

Officers say George drove into the west lane, hitting the scooter and ejecting Beverly.

Beverly was rushed to a hospital but later died.
