SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Drug charges against a Sevier County teacher have been dismissed after a ruling filed on Wednesday in court.
Jodie Huskey and her husband, Michael, were both arrested in June, 2012 after police were called to their home on Old Newport Highway.
Deputies say they found 2 pounds of Marijuana inside the home, Mrs. Huskey accused Mr. Huskey of having it in the house, he denied it was his.
Mrs. Huskey's attorney says she passed 2 polygraph tests and prosecutors found no reason to pursue charges. Sevier County Schools says her position will be reinstated as a teacher immediately.
Michael still faces charges of possession of Marijuana with the intent to sell and distribute.
