KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A tip to the Knoxville Police Dept.'s Crime and Drug Hotline pays off when officers reportedly find 8 grams of crack cocaine in a north Knoxville home while arresting a man for an outstanding warrant.
Demetrius Eppinger had been wanted for Drug Free School Zone violation. Officers found the drugs while he was being arrested at home on Jourolman Ave. on Thursday, according to police.They also seized $1,625 from him. Eppinger is being held on $75,000 bond.
