Family experience of Christmas in the Cave

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Weekends before Christmas in Knoxville will get a little dark, as Cherokee Caverns will offer Christmas in the Cave for a unique holiday experience for the whole family.

Cherokee Caverns in Knoxville will be open to the public for Christmas in the Cave, Friday and Saturday December 14th & 15th and Thursday thru Sunday, December 20th thru 23rd. Open 5:30pm -8:30pm each night.

Organizers say visitors will be able to walk through an underground winter wonderland and enjoy Christmas scenes and thousands of twinkling lights.

Admission is $8.00 per person for ages 6 & up. Children 5 and under are free.
