SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) - A family of five has lost their home after a fire Wednesday afternoon in Seymour.
The home on Staghorn Lane and officials say it's likely a total loss.
The two adults, two teenagers, and a baby who live in the home were not there when it happened.
The Red Cross responded to help and the family's pastor says they'll need it.
"They don't have anything expect what they had on. they weren't home and that's the good thing all the way down to the 3-month old baby. they don't have anything. so we're assessing what we can do for em and what this community wil do for them," says Pastor Danny Murr of DuPont Baptist Church.
The family is staying with relatives while crews try to figure out what caused the fire.
