ANDERSON COUNTY:
Museum of Appalachia honors July 4 with anvil shoot, music, old-time arts. Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday with special music, demonstrations of pioneer skills, patriotic ceremonies-and the popular anvil shoot.

July 4th
Independence Day Children's Parade - will be held along Main Street in downtown Crossville at 10:00 AM. For
"Fireworks" - Annual Fireworks Celebration at Centennial Park; children activities start at 5:00 PM and fireworks at 9:00

GREENE COUNTY
Greeneville Astros will be playing Elizabethton Twins at Pioneer Park at Tusculum College July 4th at 7 p.m. with a fireworks display to follow.
Also, Main Street: Greeneville is hosting a "Picnic in the Park" event at Bicentennial Park behind Greeneville/Greene County Library on N. Main St. in historic downtown Greeneville from 6 to 9 p.m. on July 4.

July 3 - 4th of July Midnight Parade - Saluting the valiant men and women of our military services, this 36th annual showcase is the "First July Fourth Parade in the Nation!" Parade starts at the stroke of midnight to begin Independence Day. Floats, balloons, and marching bands pay tribute to our country during this Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event. July 4 - River Raft Regatta - Visitors can enjoy a fun, unmanned, floatable object race for the whole family. Free registration begins at 10 a.m. at bridge beneath chair lift. July 4 - 4th of July Fireworks Show - Join the celebration in downtown Gatlinburg to mark our nation's "Independence Day" with a magnificent fireworks show.
