MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Special Agent in Charge Kenneth L. Moore, Knoxville Division of the FBI and Chief Tony J. Crisp of the Maryville Police Department announced the arrest of Timothy L. Inman Saturday.
Inman, 37, of Blount County, was arrested for the robbery of the Capital Bank on the 400 block of Foothills Mall Drive in Maryville. The bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon.
Inman was arrested without incident Friday evening in a Walmart parking lot on the 2000 block of Highway 411 South.
The arrest is the result of cooperative efforts of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, composed of the FBI, the Knoxville Police Department, and Knox County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Maryville Police Department and the Blount County Sheriff’s Office.
It is anticipated that Inman will appear before the United States District Court in Knoxville on Monday.
