Knox County, Tenn. (WVLT) - It opens to the public starting at 5:45pm. It's a free event - but organizers are asking you to bring a canned goods or make a donation.

If you miss tonight's event don't worry - Dec. 21-23, Santa will visit and there will be a Holiday Market with local vendors and crafters selling Christmas gifts. Food vendors will be on site with kettle corn, hot chocolate and the ingredients for s'mores. Pets on leashes are welcome.

"It's a traditional light display. It's a great time to come out with the family," said Doug Bataille with Knox County parks and recreation.
