Fire at Crossville publishing company extinguished.

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A fire erupted at TAP Publishing on Fourth Street just before 3:00 Central Daylight Time Tuesday.

Firefighters at the station across the street from the facility heard explosions and quickly responded to the scene. The fire chief tells Local 8 News the blasts were so powerful, they nearly knocked the firefighters to the ground.

Chief Mike Turner said high voltage power lines were the cause of the fire. Crews had to wait until power was cut to the building before they could battle the blaze.

When the power was shut off, crews quickly extinguished the fire. No one was hurt.
