KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A house fire Monday morning has damaged a house in West Knoxville.
It broke out at a home on Wilshire Road and April Drive. That's off Northshore Drive.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire. They had it under control by 7am, about 30 minutes after started.
Fire officials say neighbors woke the person living there as the flames spread in the back of the house.
Officials say everyone made it out safely and most of the damage was contained to the back of the home.
Right now, an investigation is underway into the cause.
