Rural Metro responded to a call about an attic fire at the 7600 block of Temple Acres Road in north Knoxville. The fire started about 1:30 p.m.
The homeowner came home, discovered the flames and called 911.
Multiple units were on scene to fight the blaze.
Firefighters doused the fire at about 2:15, and the extent of the damage is yet to be determined.
No injuries were reported.
Fire investigators have not yet determined the fire's cause.
