SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Sevier County firefighters are trying to figure out what started a fire at a cabin on Spence Mountain.

Firefighters say someone driving by saw the cabin on fire just before 1pm on Wednesday. The home was a total loss, but no one was hurt during the fire.

Sevier County Fire Spokesperson, Paul Lambert, said the cause of the fire is under investigation. He says the fire was kept from spreading into the woods and to a nearby home.

Sevier County Firefighters were helped by Pigeon Forge and Caton's Chapel Fire Departments.
