Former Knox County Trustee Office employee found guilty of theft

A Knox County jury found a former Trustee Office employee guilty of Theft over $60,000.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knox County jury has found a former Trustee Office employee guilty of Theft over $60,000.

The two-week trial concluded Friday with the verdict against 58-year-old Delbert Eugene Morgan.

Morgan was employed between April 2004 and March 2007.

The Class B Felony carries a range of punishment from eight to twelve years behind bars.

A sentencing date is scheduled for October 23.
