CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - One person has died after a wreck Monday night in Campbell County.
The wreck happened around 7:30 p.m. on Patty Hill Road.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a Dodge Ram was heading south and ran off the road. Troopers say the driver then over-corrected, went up an embankment and spun around.
A passenger in the truck, Charles Morris, 43, of LaFollette, was killed.
Troopers say alcohol was a factor in the wreck and charges are pending against the driver.
Police say no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
Four people were taken by Lifestar helicopter Monday night after a wreck in Campbell County.
It happened on Patty Hill Road around 7:30 p.m.
Witnesses say the truck was coming down a hill and somehow lost control. They say the truck then hit a tree and flipped.
It's unclear how many people were inside at the time of the wreck.
